Playtech Expands Partnership with Fortuna CZ by Integrating Native Casino App
This week, it was announced that Playtech had expanded its current cooperation with renowned Central and Eastern European gaming and sports betting operator Fortuna in the Czech Republic.
According to the terms of a newly renewed agreement between the two businesses, Playtech will work with Fortuna to release end-user versions of its Native Casino app in order to expand the operator's Czech gaming selection with a variety of slot machines.
Soon after the operator finished moving its Polish sportsbook to Playtech's IMS platform, news of the enlarged partnership between the two companies broke. That took place after Fortuna's omni-channel sportsbooks targeting the Slovakia and Czech Republic successfully migrated to Playtech's platform. For Croatia and Romania, additional integrations of sports betting are planned.
Operators have the opportunity to add additional sections and promotions to the main screen of Playtech's Native Casino app, which is completely customisable. The software is designed to adhere to a wide range of regulatory contexts and includes support for 24 different languages. The system, which was first presented to the market in 2016 and has subsequently been used by a number of tier-one digital gambling operators, is expected to get more languages and regulatory-focused upgrades.
Delighted to Support the Casino Portfolio of Fortuna CZ
The omni-channel solution that the technology provider developed for the gambling operator's Czech business earlier this year is being expanded with the release of a Fortuna-branded version of Playtech's Native Casino app in the Czech market.
The inclusion of the app, which is accessible on both Android and iOS devices, substantially expands the selection of casino games that Fortuna CZ already provides to its Czech customers. The app offers popular Playtech roulette and blackjack games in addition to popular Playtech slots including Buffalo Blitz, Ways of the Phoenix, and White King.
By offering an entirely native lobby and content, the hosting concerns that can otherwise arise with wrapper-based products are avoided.
Playtech Program Manager Anton Golikov commented on the company's expanded partnership with Fortuna CZ, saying that they are happy to be supporting the operator's expansion of its casino game selection and that they have worked closely with Fortuna's team to "deliver bespoke versions of our Native Casino app to a robust timescale."
Fortuna's Group Head of Product Development, David Vozábal, expressed his company's satisfaction with the Native Casino app project's speedy development and final outcome. Mr. Vozábal added that overcoming potential technical obstacles will allow their players to have a fully native experience.
According to James Frendo, Director of Casino at Playtech, their cooperation has grown since Playtech introduced its omni-channel casino solution for Fortuna in the operator's primary Czech market earlier in 2020, and they are happy to have their Native Casino app ready so rapidly.
